This position exists to provide leadership and technical assistance for the direction and development of Career and Technical Education business and marketing occupation programs including work based programs and experiential learning This position provides professional development and technical assistance to educators, school districts personnel and business and industry partnerships to develop and improve career and technical education programs. Works with the division of Office Career and College Success.
Bachelor’s degree in education and three years of experience at the classroom level. Experience must include at least one of the following:
- Facilitating or leading professional development for educators
- Data collection
- Analysis and reporting
- Curriculum and standards alignment
- Program improvement and or instructional coaching
- Valid driver’s license
- Advanced degree in education
- Educational Leadership experience
- Knowledge of state or federal grant management
- Decision making, organizing, and prioritization skills sufficient to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional diplomacy and negotiation skills, and group facilitation skills and abilities to provide clear and concise information when communicating with school districts personnel
- Teamwork and interpersonal relations skills
- Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel
